How To Find Us
By Car
Scorrybreac is located on the old Glencoe Road
Traveling on the A 82 from the South, take the turning right marked "Glencoe Village 3.5 miles". This is a single track lane with passing places, you will pass the Clachaig Inn and the youth hostel on your left. Follow this road for 3 miles, and then turn right at the Scorrybreac sign. The guest house is 500 yards up this drive.
Traveling on the A 82 from the North, turn left at the Glencoe Village sign and immediately (within 10 yards) turn right into the village. Follow the main street for 500 yards, cross the small, stone Bridge of Coe. Twenty yards from the Bridge, turn left up the tarmacadam drive at the Scorrybreac sign. The guest house is 500 yards up this drive. For further directions and maps, see www.multimap.co.uk.
By Rail
Scotrail runs between Glasgow and Fort William, passengers can either dismount at Bridge of Orchy or Fort William stations. The most convenient station is Fort William where buses/taxes can be taken to Glencoe Village. It is also possible to arrange for a hire car to be waiting for you (www.hawco.volkswagen.co.uk)
By Coach
Regular Citylink coaches run from Glasgow and Edinburgh dropping off at The Glencoe Hotel. The Glencoe Hotel is located at the bottom of the village on the main road. As the village is very small no bus service operates into the village.
By Foot
Whilst we welcome green travelers, getting to many of the popular walks and sights from the Guest house on foot or public transport can be difficult. The distance to the starting point of many published/popular walks may be further than the walk itself. If you are planning to arrive by foot consider this.
